I was fifteen when I saw the movie. I had been a backward girl that never fit in. The movie spoke to me in spite of the home life I had. I wanted to remember that moment… and I got the book from the library. After a while I purchased the book and I’ve been a fan ever since. I have marched to the only beat I heard… that of Jonathan. Much of life's lessons I have learned from Jonathan but also from A Bridge Across Forever.
Though others have tried to hold me back, all these years later as I've mellowed I will always remember that it began at fifteen going to see the movie. Every time I see a seagull, I remember that my path was changed the moment I heard the story of Jonathan.
