How glad I am that I have found your website. I read Jonathan in 1970 when it was the rage. I was in California this year with my grandchildren, five of them. The seagulls were flying around and I thought about your book though I hadn't thought about it for a long time. I asked the teens and others in their 20's if they had ever read Jonathan LIvingston Seagull and they said they never heard of it. They were interested and wanted to read it.
My granddaughter who teaches English literature thought it might be a good book along with Mr. Shakspeare to have in the high school curriculum. Just wanted to express that I never forgot the lesson of the story. Don't follow the crowd- be your own person. I wish you well. Sincerely Janet Turner
