I first read this awesome book while in college as required reading from our psychology teacher, who was also a minister. I've loved the book since the day I read it 43 years ago. It has greatly inspired me over the years.
It dawned on me that whenever I paint or draw a picture or write a story, for some reason, I have always included a bird. I made this bird my trademark. Nothing seems complete without me drawing the bird I've made up over the years. And now I realize that the bird is Jonathon. He lives in me and in all of us.
