Karl's Story

Jonathan's story, The Reluctant Messiah's story, and Illusions have been part of my life woven into the tapestry of love, happiness, struggle, and sadness that often pervades life moment to moment. Flying has also been a dream of mine, not quite as realized as yours and your aerial exploits. I was and am a completely captive audience, enthralled by your descriptions of the struggles of a student pilot and the detail of an aircraft's cockpit with its design features, good and bad. When I think about it I can never figure out with flying if it is the doing of it or the thinking and dreaming about it that really matters. Who cares, it's a hell of a lot of fun...The shape of the wing, the sound the prop makes, all the potential sitting there in front of you. That comes alive when metal or fabric touches the air with speed.

Jonathan has been my life, although when I read about him many years ago I would not have thought about him like that at the time. The funny thing about a magic trick is you really want to know how it was done, but after you find out how, its kind of disappointing. Or is it?

Family with like-minded brothers and sisters is everything and who knows who will pop up next as another family member. With love and peace....
